Back in 2011, owner Jason Wojnarowski acquired Donut Inc. in Stratford to branch out into another family business (Wojnarowski & Sons has been building beautiful homes in Connecticut for over 40 years). What started as a small coffee shop transformed into a mecca of confection concoctions when it was decided to bring all baking in-house, giving Jason and his team the creative freedom to think outside the box.
ONCE DONUT CRAZY WAS BORN IN 2015, WORD GOT OUT THAT THERE WAS A COOL NEW PLACE BAKING UP TREATS THAT DELIGHTED THE EYE AND THE TASTEBUDS—AND IT’S BEEN NOTHING BUT COOL IDEAS, HOT OVENS, AND WARM SMILES EVER SINCE.
With locations in Shelton, Stratford, New Haven, and Westport—plus a new full-service location opening in West Hartford in 2018—we create over 45 varieties of donuts each day to feed the adventurously hungry.
