About Doolin Cave

Doolin Cave, Doolin, Co. Clare, Ireland is home to the largest free hanging stalactite in the Northern Hemisphere. The Great Stalactite is over 27feet long and weighs over 10tonnes. Doolin Cave is also home to a Farmland Nature Trail which takes a looped walk around the cave setting taking in rare and indigenous species of animals and plants and the original cave entrance.
