Established in 1972, Doric is Australia's largest privately owned hardware manufacturer supplying innovative door and window hardware for residential, commercial and architectural applications. With a network of Australian branches located in capital cities and regional locations, Doric is able to provide the service and delivery standards our clients demand across the country. Doric also has a global footprint which includes a network of branches located through Asia-Pacific and Auckland, New Zealand. Since established in 1998, Doric's products have been specified in numerous high profile buildings around Malaysia, and throughout South East Asia. A big part of Doric’s success over the decades has been its emphasis on research and development. With a dedicated team of 12 industrial designers, mechanical engineers and electrical engineers, Doric’s R&D department is able to explore a broad range of concepts and rapidly test them through prototyping. Thanks to our strong focus on R&D and a global reach, Doric has been able to provide the highest level of design, testing, service and delivery standards. As a result, we have been awarded multiple Australian Window Association (AWA) Design Awards to date, including ‘Most Innovative Component’ in 2007 and 2009. From the launch of the company above an old racehorse stable in 1972, Doric has expanded to a multinational business servicing the Asia Pacific and North American regions, providing the hardware industry with quality, innovative and market leading window and door hardware.
