At Dorothy J. Cole, we solve all sorts of problems–and help our clients achieve all sorts of goals–that involve money. When our work is done, either their problem is solved or they have the tools and knowledge to solve it. And they usually have more money coming back into their pockets than what they pay us. We have been providing a full range of fee-only financial planning services since 1991. These include preparing comprehensive financial plans, providing on-going asset management, and doing various special projects on either a one-time or ongoing basis. Special projects often include specialized services to small and mid-size businesses. We offer an initial free consultation to appropriate prospective clients. The fees clients pay us are considered investments. We will not recommend our services unless we are first convinced that our services will be helpful and that we will be able to show our client how to get more money back in their pocket than what they have paid us. Our fees are based upon complexity and amount of assets. Consequently, they vary from client to client. We do not tell our clients what to do. Instead, we provide education so that each may make informed choices now and in the future. We do everything possible to help clients implement their decisions, but we take no custody of and have no discretionary authority over our clients' assets.
