A nonprofit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian assistance to at-risk families in Afghanistan, with a focus on women, widows, youth, and people with disabilities. We are dedicated to providing the underserved communities of Afghanistan with resources and support to overcome malnutrition, child labor, and poverty.
Our organization consists of individuals from the public health industry to the marketing field, who dedicate their time to volunteer and fundraise for our friends in Afghanistan. As a result, we provide women-led households with enough food to feed their families, financial stipends to promote education among youth, and business grants for people with disabilities.
At the core of our organization are the values we believe are integral to being Doste Afghan, “A Friend of an Afghan:” autonomy and empathy, impact and sustainability, transparency and respect, and service and initiative.
