We want to improve the world - as much as possible, for as many as possible. This is why we exist. It is our purpose. No more, no less. What we do - or how we do it - may change as we grow and evolve, but 'the why' is principal; it drives everything we do as a guiding light, keeping us focused, aligned, and on track. Everything in the world is connected, somehow. 'Dots' is what we call things. Anything can be dots, and the world is made up by an enormous amount of dots. Each dot connects to other dots, often making it very difficult to make sense of 'the big picture'; of how the world hangs together. This is what we do - make sense.
