Double Take is developing and publishing stories by creative teams of new writers and artists.
Our starting point for these stories is the classic 1968 horror film “Night of the Living Dead.” “Spring,” “Medic” and “Home” are original stories set in that film’s universe. For fans of the film, “Rise,” “Insurrection” and “Soul” are stories that follow our favorite characters like Johnny and Barbara, but with new surprises. These stories are just the beginning; as we grow our universe, we welcome anyone who wants to join our creative teams--as a writer or an artist. And as our company grows, we will post more job opportunities.

As you may already know, the original film is in the public domain. All of us at Double Take admire and respect the creators, cast and crew of the original, but, no one affiliated with the original is in any way involved in the creation of our stories. You can think of these new stories as part of an alternate universe, inspired by, but distinct from the original.
