In 1968, Mario Giannini founded a small footwear atelier in Montegranaro, in the heart of the Marche region of Italy.
In 1973 the Doucal’s dream was born, a dream in which Italian quality and craftsmanship come together with English style and elegance. Years passed and Jerry and Gianni, Mario’s children, who were captivated by and involved in the Doucal’s dream, accompanied the growth and success of the brand by infusing every product with creativity, manual workmanship and a sense of beauty.
