By learning to code, kids can gradually shift from being digital consumers to become digital creators. Coding has become a fundamental skill in today’s world, and just like learning to read and write, it’s best to start at a young age. Learning to code provides a new way of thinking about abstract mathematical concepts. It encourages creative thinking. It teaches students a new, highly logical way of communicating. As a result, it supports student success in such diverse fields as math, art, and reading comprehension. Coding and coding literacy can be argued to be one of the most important skills for current and future generations to learn.
