Daughters of Virtue and Empowerment Initiative (DOVENET)

DOVENET is an independent, non-profit organization working in Nigeria. The organization was established in year 2000 to strengthen and empower women and young people to make them confident contributors to development, working under five- point resolution: a. Human Rights, Peace building and Conflict Resolution. b. Networking, Coalition building and Monitoring. c. Training and capacity building for women and young people in Democracy and Governance. d. Health issues. e. Community Development. MISSION STATEMENT: Committed to the promotion of all round development and empowerment of women, young people and community members through training, capacity building, advocacy, strategic behaviour change communication, and research to guarantee gender equality and equity towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). VISION: Our vision is a society where all individuals are empowered to contribute towards growth and development irrespective of age or gender.
