Our Mission: The Down North Foundation (DNF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit working to reconstruct relationships, culture, and places to create a resilient and empowered community as a way to counteract the impact of systems that compound the marginalization of people.
Our Vision: We believe change is rooted in community and requires imagination and reconstruction. We anchor ourselves in one fundamental vision: the creation of safe, inclusive community-centered places, plot by plot.
We embody and are guided by these core values: empowerment, team work, care, consistency, and collective responsibility.
