Down Syndrome Kosovo (DSK) is a non-governmental organization established on March 4, 2007, by parents of people with Down Syndrome (DS). It operates in five (5) regional areas of the country: Pristina, Mitrovica, Prizren, Ferizaj, and Gjilan. The mission of Down Syndrome Kosovo is to promote, respect, and protect the rights of people with Down Syndrome in Kosovo and their families. The organization, aims to create a society that values human diversity and ensures that people with DS have equal opportunities to realize their full potential.
