Independent international auditing organisations are responsible for monitoring them worldwide. In addition, independent testing institutes monitor the quality of all products. DOWNPASS products, audited farms and businesses are available in Europe, Asia, North America and Australia. The young animal welfare and quality seal started in 2017 and reliably excludes down from live animals and from foie gras production. The rearing of the animals is continuously monitored, and there are supplementary monitoring programmes for parent animal farms.
