Downtown Bloomington, Inc. is 501(c)(6), or member-driven not-for-profit organization, that benefits it's members by fostering the revitalization of downtown. Members have the opportunity to network, increase visibility, as well as help shape the future of downtown Bloomington. After its conception in 1984, the organization has grown to serve more than 140 members representing small business owners, restauranteurs, property developers, individual residents and local government.
Downtown Bloomington, Inc. plans many successful community-wide events including Taste of Bloomington, Downtown Easter Egg Hunt, the Fourth of July Parade, and more, in addition to managing the Monroe Convention Center, one of the many amenities now available in downtown Bloomington.
