DPP has developed more than 350MW of renewable energy destined to supply the national electrical system of Chile (SEN). Mainly, these projects have been located in the regions of Antofagasta and Coquimbo, and there are also projects in the regions of Tarapacá, Atacama and the Metropolitan region.
The company participates in the entire value chain of this type of project, including the search for land, community outreach, plant design, obtaining permits, financing, construction and project operation.

One of the characteristics of PMGDs consists of its limited and environmentally friendly scale, not requiring extensive and large-scale transmission lines for its connection. On the contrary, by supplying energy from places close to electricity consumption, these projects only require medium-voltage connection lines, equivalent to public lighting networks in urban areas of the country. This avoids the construction of high-voltage towers, also bringing benefits to distribution networks, since their installation makes it possible to reinforce the existing infrastructure of electricity distributors.
