We are a consortium of US, Canadian, NZ, Australian, and UK entities, a combination of Telcos, ISPs, Financial Institutions, and Utilities engaging in the dr.pn project to create our own routers.
The benefits include fit-for-purpose routers at a fraction of the cost, more I/O with less power consumption, protection from Carrington\EMP events, no 3rd party supply chain risks, no bloatware, and no backdoors provided by current network manufacturers.
Each entity, will own 100% of the router source code, their own hardware, robots to build the hardware, circuit diagrams, component lists, and alternative component lists (entities procure components directly from suppliers).
