Dr Sean Leo

Dr. Sean Leo has a career marked by achievements and a dedication to excellence in the field of medicine. In 1994, he earned a prestigious military scholarship from the Singapore Armed Forces, propelling him to pursue his medical education at the esteemed National University of Singapore (NUS). Following his rigorous medical training at NUS, Dr. Leo returned to serve in the Singapore Armed Forces Medical Corps, leaving a remarkable impact from 1999 to 2012. During his tenure, Dr. Leo played a pivotal role in medical policy formulation and was actively involved in operational planning and overseas medical and humanitarian missions. He showcased his expertise by treating numerous high-demand professional soldiers, forging ties with various military services, and gaining invaluable exposure to cutting-edge programs in human performance optimization, pioneering surgical techniques, and rehabilitation programs. As a skilled orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Leo completed his post-graduate training in Orthopedic Surgery in 2009, and further enriched his knowledge with a one-year clinical fellowship at the prestigious Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, Australia. During this time, he served as the team physician for the esteemed Gordon Rugby Football Club, providing top-notch medical coverage during New South Wales Rugby Union League games and offering clinical consultation and treatment to team players. His expertise in the field of regeneration, repair, restoration, and resurfacing of joint injuries was further honed during his fellowship. Driven by a passion for sports injuries in young athletes, ligament reconstruction, realignment surgery, cartilage transplantation, and knee replacement surgery became focal points of his clinical interests.
