Draft Cargoways India Pvt Ltd, a part of Fairmacs Group of Companies, was established in India in the year 1996 to offer LCL Import & Export freight consolidation services. Draft Cargoways was among the first in India to start offering LCL import consolidation services out of Singapore. In a short span of time these were offered out of Europe & USA. From mid of 1998, Draft Cargoways commenced Direct Export consolidation services from Indian ports to European base ports of Felixstowe, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Antwerp and Genoa, New York, Los Angeles & Houston in USA, Vancouver & Toronto in Canada, Jebel Ali, Dammam & Doha in Middle East, ISC (Chittagong & Colombo), Far East (Shanghai, Busan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Port Klang, Surabaya, Jakarta) & Australia (Sydney & Melbourne). In May 2003, Draft Cargoways USA office was incorporated in the State of New York as Foreign Business, an entity wholly owned by Draft Cargoways India Private Limited in India. In July 2003, the Company received its NVOCC (Non Vessel Operating Common Carrier) license from the Federal Maritime Commission to offer Door to Door Logistics Services. The Company also set up its office in Houston in September 2010. Today Draft Cargoways specializes in industries covering Oil & Gas, Auto Components, Chemicals (Haz / Non Haz), Pharmaceuticals, Hazardous & Dangerous Gases, Refrigerated cargo, Carpets, Coir products, Garments, Exempt Commodities exports from USA like Scrap Metal, Wooden Logs, Plastic Scrap & Waste Paper and handling Household goods & Personal effects.
