There has been a lack of consistency in pricing, quality, and availability of pepsin, an enzyme used for detecting Trichinella spiralis in pork meat, in Serbia since Galenika AD, the only company that produced pepsin in former Yugoslavia, ceased this activity. We identified this market opportunity and have been successfully providing high-quality, EU-produced pepsin at a fair price to our clients, which include the largest meat producers and processors, research extension stations, and veterinary laboratories nationwide. We have 20 years of lead technical experience in production and 15 years in marketing and sales of pharmaceutical and veterinary raw materials and enzymes, including pepsin.
