The foundation of DragonEye started as SharedGeo with a mission to address a GIS mapping need to reduce the complexity and cost to utilize geospatial information to manage complex operations. The rapid adoption of these open source tools led to thousands of implementations worldwide to both government and private sectors who understood the unique value developed by this team.
This Team began to focus on airport specific needs years ago beginning with supporting an implementation of their open source mapping solutions at Minneapolis St. Paul International (MSP) which represents one of busier airports in North America. The success of addressing the unique challenge of monitoring airport operations during the many snowstorm events experienced by this airport motivated this team to expand into other airport challenges that we can uniquely address.
