As an Operating Partner we enable entrepreneurs, executives and shareholders to create sustainable value by supporting them where it truly matters. Our role ranges from very actively involved investors, in-house advisors to committed temporary executives. Our purpose is to create value for our partner companies by improving their way of working and exploiting industry opportunities. We do this by supporting companies on crucial projects. Depending on the organizations' needs, Dragonflies can be involved in a multitude of different business activities as a temporary executive, committed advisor or active board member. We provide expertise and support with regards to operational, organizational and commercial challenges and actively contribute to strategic and operational development. At Dragonflies we will always act during our assignments as if the company was ours. If possible we put our money where our mouth is by investing in the companies we work with. This is how we underline our long-term operating partnership. We stand out from the crowd in who we are, what we do and how we do it. Since our start-up in 2020 we have supported several companies with strategic projects as advisors or investors. As investors we are focussing on a buy and build in the food industry and the metal construction industry. As advisors we specialise in executive decision support assignments. The name Dragonflies comes from the insect and refers to its symbolism. It is a symbol of resurrection, renewal after hardship and change. The Dragonfly’s scurrying flight across water also represents an act of going beyond what’s on the surface and looking into the deeper implications. These association are also applicable to the activities of Dragonflies Operating Partners. The logo has an abstract visual resemblance to the insect but also represents the intersections of the different activities Dragonflies typically does: invest, steer and execute.
