Why Us DrasiCon was founded in 2004. It consists of experienced and scientifically accomplished executives, and was created by Dipl. Chemical Engineer Thanasis Geropapas, after his long tenure as an executive and afterwards as Technical Manager of Veropoulos Supermarkets Group. Our experience in Pest Control started in 2001 with our Special Scientist implementing all related projects in every facility (warehouses, production units and retail shops) of Veropoulos Supermarkets Group for the whole country. Upon DrasiCon's opening in 2004 we started implementing Pest Control projects in similar other spaces. Our company has developed an ISO 9001 Quality Management System and an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, all certified by DQS Insect Control The purpose of insecticide is to combat indoor insects, because their presence is a danger to the human environment. Indicatively, we mention the following insects: cockroaches, flies, ticks, mosquitoes, fleas, bugs, wasps, spiders, scorpions, termites, caterpillars, warehouse insects etc. Pestilence The purpose of pestilence is the elimination of rodents and the prevention of their reappearance. Rodents are a major threat to public health because they can transmit a wide range of human diseases (leptospirosis, typhus from their stools and urine, etc.), as well as a wide range of parasites (fleas, ticks and lice). In addition, they can cause great damage to stored food and buildings, eating the cables and posing a fire hazard. Rodents do not consume large quantities but can literally consume anything and destroy the quality of stored goods. Disinfection The purpose of the disinfection is to eliminate pathogenic micro-organisms, which contaminate places and food and can threaten human health. It is applied in places where poor health conditions have already occurred, as well as in facilities with increased microbial load where a large number of people are gathering.
