Acoris Liquors

Acoris is putting the spirit back in spirits. The name Acoris was derived from the Portuguese word for rainbow – arco iris. All our releases will pull from colours of the rainbow to create truly captivating, artfully crafted feasts for the senses. We can't wait for you to try them. Our aim is to take spirits you thought you knew, and out our own twist on them – and in our opinion, make them better. Our first release is Violet – an auguardente, which is a Portuguese style grape-based brandy. It’s made from the pomace (skins) of fermented Canadian gewerztraminer grapes. After the initial pressing of the grapes, we fermented the grape skins naturally with the wild yeast on the skins then tripled distilled the spirit. It was aged unoaked, to preserve the floral notes, for four years. Stay tune for more to come. Taste in colour.
