As Canada’s largest automotive fundraiser, Drive For Smiles® (D4S®) is a one-of-a-kind event that unites drivers of exotic cars with seriously ill children! Ranked as the top Great Escapes® Wishes event by Starlight families, kids with chronic or critical illnesses are treated to racetrack tours in luxury cars like Porsches, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and McLarens, all within a safe and controlled environment. D4S brings a much-needed sense of excitement and joy to families with seriously ill children. The thrill of riding in high-performance vehicles provides a powerful distraction from the daily challenges of their medical conditions. For these children, the chance to experience something extraordinary and exhilarating can have a significant positive impact on their mental and emotional well-being, reminding them that anything is possible, regardless of their condition. Starlight Canada, through D4S, aims to replace the fears of illness or hospitalization with renewed smiles, strength, and hope. As they leave their worries behind them on the track, even for a moment, Starlight families have a unique chance to bond, create lasting memories, lift their spirits, and gain a sense of empowerment. Thanks to the incredible support of the automotive community, thousands of children and family members have been provided with dream rides, while raising nearly $5 million across Canada since 2013.
