Fiona has managed conferences, exhibitions and events for more than 20 years. Employed by The Conference Company in mid 1995, Fiona moved to Sydney, Australia in late 1999 to join Tour Hosts Pty Ltd, one of the largest Professional Conference Organisers (PCOs) in Australia, as a Conference Manager. Having returned to Auckland early in 2003, Fiona formed her own company, Driven Events.
Fiona has managed a multitude of conferences, cocktail functions, formal dinners and awards dinners and exhibitions. They have ranged in size from 30 to 1500 people and have been located in cities throughout New Zealand and Australia.
In 1998 Fiona became one of the first five New Zealanders to become an Accredited Meetings Manager (AMM). This accreditation is awarded by the Meetings Industry Association of Australia (MIAA).
