If you are driving and the driver coming opposite is texting, you are not going to be able to detect it at 60 mph. If an old man is crossing the road and the driver is not paying attention to the driving, a run over is possible.
If the system activates, for example, the hazard lights, the rest of the users would be warned from the lack of attention of the driver.
If a driver sees the hazard lights of another moving car flashing, he could accommodate his speed and anticipate possible problems. If an old man is going to cross the road and see the lights, he could stand on the sidewalk and wait for the next opportunity to cross.
We could give the people the opportunity of avoiding the accident. Also, Police could use it to control dangerous drivers' activities.
