The Dr Liz Geriatrics’ mission is to provide training, education and support to families and professionals in caring for the elders, as well as caring for ourselves.
Understanding the broad spectrum of caregivers from family members to healthcare professionals, Dr Liz and her team of professionals can help you navigate through challenges in caring for an elder. Our goal is to provide services that are beneficial to both the caregiver and the care receiver. Dr Liz Geriatrics provides access to education and resources to help you manage the day-to-day, as well as provide information to better prepare you for what may lay ahead.
Both families and professionals are welcome to be part of the Dr Liz Geriatrics community to discuss top-of-mind topics and current issues affecting geriatric and dementia care. Dr Liz Geriatrics’ members will be informed through newsletters, podcasts, and Ask the Doc on Dr Liz Geriatrics Facebook. We also offer a monthly support group facilitated by a social worker. It takes a community of dedicated caregivers, professionals, and non-professionals, to achieve our vision – keeping our elders strong, healthy, independent, and connected with the community.
