DroneNorth was established in 2019 with a threefold objective: 1. Harness the power of image analytics and multi-sensor drone UAV technology to provide innovative solutions for mining and exploration projects. 2. Provide a local source of UAV mapping services for Remote Northern Canada to reduce reliance of southern contractors. 3. Partner with UAV Technology researchers to help de-risk and develop practical applications for ever-evolving UAV sensor technologies. Drone North excels at delivering high quality, high resolution photogrammetry, LiDAR, thermal and multispectral imagery from remote and challenging terrains that are characteristic of the Yukon, NWT, NT and BC, in addition to providing a variety of consulting, image analysis and reporting services. The business is unique in that the focus is on applications of very high resolution (big data) imagery and integration within a company’s or departments existing workflow. The business provides a necessary bridge between data acquisition and successful data use.
