Drone Tech London

By 2030 UK drone industry will be worth an extra £42bn for UK GDP, create an extra 628000 jobs in the UK, and there could be a potential of 76000 drones in operation according to a study by PWC. The industry is incredibly innovative, has the potential to not only save lives and reduce pressure on the NHS, lessen environmental impact and affect almost every industry active today, from manufacture, to commerce, to entertainment. But regulations are important due to concerns regarding privacy, security and criminal activity. This event will provide an opportunity to identify how we can build on the positives of the industry while examining potential threats. We have therefore invited speakers and guests, including policymakers, innovators, corporates and representatives from drone tech groups and UAV professional organisations, to join this discussion and establish a shared vision on the future of UAV technology in the UK.
