The Drones, Robotics & Automation Club is a student-led organization at BIUST dedicated to exploring cutting-edge technologies that are shaping the future. Founded and led by passionate undergraduate students, DRA brings together innovators, engineers, and tech enthusiasts to design, build, and program autonomous systems. Our club focuses on hands-on learning through drone assembly and programming, robotics competitions, and automation projects that address real-world challenges. Members gain practical experience with flight controllers, sensors, microcontrollers, and AI integration while developing solutions for industries like agriculture, mining, and environmental monitoring; sectors crucial to Botswana's development. DRA organizes workshops, hackathons, and collaborative projects that bridge the gap between academic theory and industry application. We welcome students from all disciplines who share a curiosity for emerging technologies and want to contribute to Botswana's technological advancement.
