DroodleBooks is a Los Angeles based, Kickstarter funded startup that created the first notebook to incorporate the creative, stress-managing elements of coloring with the functional benefits of a professional notebook. These American-designed notebooks are made and imported from Germany (a critical decision when focusing on quality and precision). Each notebook contains 160 lined pages made of the highest quality recycled paper and includes unique illustrations at the top of each page in order to inspire creativity while leaving space for the everyday note-taker. The pages are bound in an A5 notebook with a vegan leather hardcover - added features include an elastic pen holder and bookmark. Why are DroodleBooks different than a regular notebook? The main difference between DroodleBooks and standard notebooks are the illustrations located on the top of each page. In recent years, studies have proven that coloring reduces stress, and that longhand notes improve retention of information. Team Droodle realized the need for a notebook that served as a productivity tool as well as a meditative outlet. Adult coloring books aren’t designed for professional (and often stressful) environments. However, DroodleBooks encourage doodling and coloring in these types of environments while being disguised as a professional and practical notebook.
