At the Organization for Policy Research and Development Studies (DROPS) we firmly believe that a strong policy-oriented research institute is vital for creating healthy environments in states undergoing transition from war-to-peace. With this in mind, DROPS was founded in 2014 in Kabul, Afghanistan, and established a branch in Canada in 2021, as an interdisciplinary and independent research-oriented non-governmental organization. Committed to strengthening the values of inclusivity and pluralism in Afghanistan, DROPS conducts evidence-based research that provide policymakers with alternative solutions to national issues.
