About Us The Druk Support Network was born out of a deep need to support our Bhutanese community in Australia during a time of unprecedented challenges. Families are struggling with crushing medical bills, young students are unable to secure stable jobs, and those over 35 have seen their visa pathways blocked, leaving them with no clear future. In just this year alone, we’ve witnessed heartbreaking tragedies—lives lost to financial and emotional pressures, including suicides and untimely deaths. Our community's rising sense of helplessness made one thing clear: We cannot face these struggles alone. Why We Came Together: We formed the Druk Support Network to unite as a community, find solutions, and ensure no one is left behind. Together, we are fighting for: Pathways to stability for those stranded by visa restrictions. Resources to ease financial and healthcare burdens. Support for mental health and emotional resilience.
