Drumin Set within the northern reaches of the Cairngorms National Park, Drumin is ideally situated for the wilderness of the National Park and the technical challenges of the mountain bike centres at Glenlivet, the Lecht and LagganWolftrax. Drumin stands on the confluence of the rivers Livet and Avon in an area of heather-covered hills and some of the finest scenery in the Grampian Highlands. A period, detached Georgian farmhouse, Drumin was originally built in 1819 for the factor of the Duke of Gordon. It was built from the stones of the ruined thirteenth century Drumin Castle, which stands in the grounds of the house.
