We are the Direct Selling Association (DSA), a self-regulating body and the leading ambassador for the direct selling industry in South Africa. Founded in 1972, the DSA promotes and protects the interests of its member companies, who have been through a rigorous assessment process, ensuring their legitimacy, sustainability and credibility. We are committed to creating an enabling, safe and reliable environment where lives are positively changed, impacting Direct Sellers, Consumers and the broader South African public. Representing a diverse range of member companies, the DSA serves businesses that distribute goods and services through independent contractors. These contractors, also known as direct sellers, distributors, consultants, managers, sales agents, and independent business operators, engage consumers directly, away from traditional retail locations.
