Introduction to Dsc DEVELOPER STUDENT CLUB ISLAMIA UNIVERSITY OF BAHAWALPUR·TUESDAY, 29 OCTOBER 2019· Developer Student Clubs (DSC) are community groups for students from any academic background in their undergraduate or graduate term. By joining a DSC, students build their professional and personal networks, get access to Google developer resources, and work together to build solutions for local problems in a peer-to-peer learning environment. History of DSC: DSC launched in 2017 as a pilot in India to help solve the challenges university graduates were facing securing employment in the tech industry. IT aimed to provide students with the resources, opportunities and, experience. necessary to be industry-ready, all while still pursuing their degrees. Since then, the program grew to Indonesia and Africa. This year it is growing globally. From Asia to Africa; Europe, parts of the Middle East and North America. DSCs are training thousands of student developers and working with their communities to solve real-life problems Our First Event in RahimYar Khan: It was our dream as students that we should do something for our community and its people. Developer Student Club provided us with the platform and we organized the first event in Rahim Yar Khan. It was first event of its type in our university and we discussed all that mattered to students in great detail. Our aim is to build a community that will help all students. Career Counseling is one of the most important things. Students don’t know what field they should choose or if they have taken admission so what’s next for them. Developer Student Club will help such students who are confused. We are expanding!!!! Our aim is to revolutionize Pakistan with the help of our cooperative and amazing Dsc Leads from all over Pakistan. We will soon conduct sessions in Bahawalpur and Bahawalnagar as well!.
