DTLA Proud

DTLA Proud Festival Inc is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to give back to the local DTLA LGBTQ community through volunteerism, partnerships and events. We are committed to celebrating everyone’s story, to spreading optimism, to growing our community and to expanding our definition of diversity. In the last year, our inaugural DTLA Proud Festival at Pershing Square and our DTLA Proud Block Party, in partnership with Night on Broadway, attracted more than 80,000 people to both events. Through our partnerships we were able to highlight the diverse communities we are helping to bring together. We strive to cultivate an all-inclusive and diverse community environment in Downtown Los Angeles for people of varying socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, racial backgrounds, ages, religions, and other minority groups so everyone has a safe and welcoming place to express their authentic lives and celebrate alongside one another with pride.
