DTS Security Products, originally established as Duro Trading Supplies in 1990, has evolved from a humble hardware store to a leading security manufacturer and wholesaler. The company relocated to Jet Park in 1992, marking its shift towards manufacturing gate motors and distributing a comprehensive range of security products. In 2004, responding to growing market demands, DTS Security Products was formally established as a distinct entity, heralding a significant investment in state-of-the-art equipment and infrastructure.

Key developments include the DTS512 gate motor in 2002, notable for its advanced features such as gate alarm and dynamic slowdown capabilities, designed to enhance security and prevent incidents like hijacking and theft.
Continued innovation has been a hallmark of our journey. In 2011, we introduced the Megashock 5 Energizer, featuring built-in receiver and secure remote arming/disarming capabilities, setting a new standard in security management. Subsequent years saw the launch of groundbreaking products such as the Universal Timer in 2012 and the PCBSL100 PC-Board with solar readiness in 2014, reflecting our commitment to sustainability and efficiency.
The company currently operates from Spartan, in Kempton Park. With a dedicated team of 35 staff members, including directors, our facility employs 30 individuals across sales and manufacturing.
