About NRT-LAB
The NeuroRobotics Technology Laboratory (NRT-LAB) is a research group at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) within the Automation and Control Group, Department of Electrical and Photonics Engineering (DTU Electro). The research activities are in Neurorobotics, a combination of AI, Computational Neuroscience and Robotics, and are carried out in synergy with the Centre for Collaborative Autonomous Systems (CCAS) at DTU. We aim to design bio-mimetic control architectures for artificial systems that integrate biologically plausible brain models and bodies for investigating motor control and learning principles and validate them in realistic, dynamic, and rich sensory tasks and environments. The NRT-LAB mission is to open revolutionary paradigms in robotics and bio-inspired adaptive control to discover methods and technologies, which can be used for the benefit of society, i.e., in assistive robotics, human-robot interactions, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of neurodegenerative diseases. Main contact: Associate Professor Silvia Tolu (stolu@dtu.dk) Current members: PhD student Júlia Rey Vilches PhD student Adrià Mompo Alepuz PhD student Kashita Niranjan Udayanga G. W. G.
