DTU Roadrunners is a student-driven engineering team from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) designing and building ultra energy-efficient vehicles.
We compete in the Shell Eco-marathon, a global engineering competition where the goal is to drive as far as possible on the equivalent of one litre of fuel.
We are European champions and consistently perform among the best teams. With a total of 15 first place in the Internal combustion category. In 2024, we received the Data & Telemetry Award supported by Schmid Elektronik for our innovative real-time telemetry system and dashboard.
Our team combines mechanical, electrical, and software engineering to build record-breaking vehicles. From carbon fibre chassis design and lightweight suspension to engine tuning and live telemetry systems, every detail is optimized for efficiency.
