Structural Lab is particularly well suited for sub-structural and component testing. In sub-structural and component testing only a part of a full structure is tested to investigate localized phenomena or the response of that part of the structure, without having to test the entire structure.
Structural Lab has three strong floors and a strong wall, as well as an outstanding selection of loading and monitoring equipment and hydraulic support facilities to conduct advanced sub-structural testing with multi-axial static and fatigue load configurations.
Due to its high number of load frames and structural actuators over a wide range of force capacities, Structural Lab is especially well-equipped for fatigue testing of structural and material component specimens of essentially any size, including specimens requiring fatigue load ranges in the order of mega-Newtons.
