Durham University Aeronautical Society (DU AeroSoc; DUAeS)

We are Durham University's Society for all things aeronautical engineering, aviation and defence related - building complex fixed-wing and non-fixed-wing Remotely Piloted and Autonomous Aircraft Systems (RPAAS) for national and international competitions; hosting technical and policy defence/aeronautical talks; and fostering education and awareness within Durham County about the beauty of aeronautics. Founded in 2024, and supported by the Durham University Department of Physics, we are always looking for sponsors desiring to play a part in pioneering research in RPAAS and supporting the discussion of defence policy around it.
