DUAH Refashioned is an upcycling fashion startup that creates functional and timeless garments using pre-consumer and post-consumer waste of locally sourced Ghanaian fabrics. Our mission is to preserve culture, minimise waste, and empower seamstresses and local talents by rethinking how fashion is produced and consumed in Northern Ghana.
Our work is a response to local problems with local solutions: reclaiming discarded materials from Tamale’s fashion economy and transforming them into pieces that honour tradition, champion sustainability, and spark pride in Northern identity.
