Dhaka University Entrepreneurship Development Club (DUEDC)

DUEDC is an organized platform established in an attempt to tackle students’ hesitation to start a new business. It is run by the students of Dhaka University. It seeks to embellish the skills of business students to prepare them for entrepreneurship. Vision : To serve as a platform that aims at accelerating entrepreneurship in Bangladesh. Our mission is to empower students to become social entrepreneurs by instilling the basics of business strategy and the process for starting and maintaining an organization. Our members tackle specific social problems through their own projects, or through collaboration with existing businesses and organizations. DUEDC has been established to unearth the immense hidden potentiality and leadership of the students.The intention behind all the activities of this club is to help its members to sense the enormous latent force they possess. Moreover, complying with the modern day corporate ambiance, team work is emphasized here prior to every thing so that the members can feel the bond in the long term when they will enter into the real corporate activities. The Entrepreneurship development forum is founded to fulfill the followings: To learn about international business and how free markets operate within them and to share our knowledge with others. To teach the enterprise system to others on the Dhaka University (DU) campus and how to use the Entrepreneurship system effectively. To create an environment where students from all fields can learn how to work together as a team. To provide legitimate working and teaching experiences to prepare students for their careers and to excel in today’s marketplaces. To create a network of students, DU faculty and staff, and local business and community leaders in order to foster mutually beneficial relationships among the students, the university, local business, and the community. To involve non-business students and members of our advisory board in all our programs and activities.
