DUI Awareness

DUI Awareness provides innovative educational programs about impaired driving for young drivers, college students, community groups, athletes, restaurants and establishments. This unique public awareness effort is currently conducted in 250 Drivers Education classes at 26 Tampa area high schools. 9,000 young drivers participate in the program every year. To date, over 80,000 young drivers have participated in the program. The educational program provides clear and concise information about the serious nature of the problem, efforts to prevent its' occurrence, the significant consequences and the extensive penalties associated with impaired driving. Enhanced awareness about impaired driving provides people with the capacity to make wise choices, educate others and an ability to be a positive influence with their friends and family.
