Dukes Education is a family of schools and education organisations based in the UK. We bring together schools that are diverse in their offering, and yet united as outstanding examples of teaching and learning.
Though a relatively new organisation, launched in 2015, Dukes has grown quickly and, in 2021 has four boarding and day colleges, 11 schools and 12 ‘Little Dukes’ feeder nurseries, with eight summer school locations, and a multi-branch university application consultancy service, over 4,400 pupils and just under 2,000 staff. Many of these schools and organisations are long-established, with decades of experience providing excellent teaching and care to students. We are now of sufficient scale to begin to shape what excellence looks like in the education space for children of all ages.
Dukes celebrates the autonomy of our schools, with Principals and Heads leading on all decisions. Each member organisation is distinctive. However, we joined together because we found cultures in these organisations that shared characteristics – optimism, ambition, and a deep commitment to outstanding teaching and learning. We believe that together we will be more powerful in helping young people go on to live fulfilling lives.
