Duluth Fall Festival

The Duluth Fall Festival, Inc. is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to the improvement and beautification of Historic Downtown Duluth, Georgia. The Festival organization sponsors many activities during the year, including: monthly meetings, downtown work days, an annual community luncheon (for sponsors, volunteers, city workers, first responders, and others), the annual Festival Concert in September, and a community Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony. However, the annual Festival, held the last weekend in September, is the largest event sponsored by the organization. From its humble beginnings in 1983, the Festival has changed from a small-town celebration to one of the most successful festivals in the southeast. The number of committees has grown from three to more than 50, the number of volunteers has grown from 25 to almost 400, and the number of Arts & Crafts vendors and Food booths has grown from less than 40 to more than 350. Today, the Duluth Fall Festival has an attendance consistently more than 80,000.
