At DuPage Habitat we don't address this by providing a hand out, rather we offer a hand up by enabling our partner families to achieve the pride of homeownership working side by side with community volunteers to build or repair their home. Since 1995, DuPage Habitat has sold homes to over 75 limited-income families with over 170 children. Over the next three years our ambitious goal is to serve over 80 hardworking families which we estimate will provide a safe, stable and healthy environment for over 220 children.
