Duquesne University AAPS student chapter is on a mission to broaden the academic, professional, and social horizon of budding pharmaceutical scientists.
Goals of our chapter :
1 Be actively involved in AAPS and seek to improve the visibility of Duquesne University as a center of excellence in pharmaceutical science research
2 Strive to provide career development and networking opportunities for student members
3 Hold social gatherings at least once per semester
4 Invite a keynote speaker to address the chapter at least once per academic year
5 Maintain contact with alumni to keep students informed of potential career paths and for networking purposes
6 Schedule and participate in mock seminars to help develop student's oral presentation skills
7 Continue to coordinate with the University of Pittsburgh and West Virginia University to hold the annual Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Symposium
8 Take part in volunteering events that promote science or for social causes
