I'm Anne-Marie. Dusty Pony Design is my studio, specializing in surface pattern design, graphic design & illustration.

After graduating in Illustration from Rhode Island School of Design, I worked for several years as a faux finish & mural painter. I further developed my eye for color and texture in an interior design setting. Working directly on client's walls and furniture lends a tactile reality to pattern, depth and hue. Making changes on the fly based on the lighting in the room, glazing to create an optimal effect and working with the client to create the perfect feeling to their home became second nature.
My recent work in the digital arena has combined with my hands on work to create something unique. Using Illustrator and Photoshop, I love to weave textures and create depth. I use hand drawn illustrations, my own photographs and custom painted textures to create the right mood for each design.
My work is suitable for a wide range of products, from fabrics and wallpaper to stationary, home goods and more!
